Flying it is not a problem, The hard part is getting it checked in and sealed prior to leaving the NWT. As long as you have figured out that logistical step the transportation is fine, just some forms to fill out at customs.
South Africa sounds like what you are looking for- lots of archery opportunities there with trophies and culls can really stack them up with great accommodations for the whole group.
Other than that I am not personally familiar with outfits in Texas, which seems to fit what you are looking for.
For that price it would be hard to beat South Africa, though Jan-March is a bit early, May-June can be good , July-Sept best.
You could get a good package for that much and throw in a couple cull animals if you ask, and will be successful on multiple animals.
In the US, there are some areas in...
If you trust the RAVN flight to Coldbay and then the Grant aviation flight to False pass you better be lucky!
The easier way and more dependable though more expensive is to charter a flight from Anchorage Merrill field. Lake Clark Air goes there frequently. Also you can bring your fuel etc...
Congrats on a nice bear.
My thoughts on weight is - who cares 🤷🏻♂️
Haha I have noticed eastern guys care more about weight and tend to haul out animal whole and weigh them; all the time with deer 😂

Sure if you order online and always have...
If you apply for Limited Entry Elk (special units where you can shoot any Bull) then you Cannot apply for any other limited entry tag (deer or pronghorn). Same goes for OIL draw for residents- can only pick one species
There are general (sort of OTC) Elk tags for some areas that are Any Bull...
I really like the standard vented with a bleeder. The double bevel is sharper than the single bevel.
The wides did not fly well for me.
I have used them with success on a number of big animals- Cape buffalo, water buffalo, musk ox, brown bear, moose.
Of course they will work on smaller game...
I drew a Tule elk tag on my first time putting in.
One year I drew a NR AZ archery elk tag and a UT Expo elk tag for the same 2 weeks. Didn’t like that overlap and felt like I settled for lesser bulls on both hunts due to the time crunch. Was hard hunting 2 out of state areas DIY and having a...
