    Javelina Austin TX

No points needed, your allowed 2 per calender year. You do have to buy a lic., which is good for 2 javelina. My favorite animal to hunt ( archery)

First elk hunt. What cartridge should I use?

Put all three in hat, and pick one. Personally I would take 6.5 prc. But your going to get all kinds of answers and suggestions. I am sure some may even tell you to buy a barrel in a differant caliber. If you were confused before, just wait.

    Tracking techniques for Rocky Mountains

The areas I hunt are either private or wilderness areas. The whole year while scouting there is no flagging to be seen, unless it’s old and we hadn’t seen it to remove it before. All of a sudden hunting seasons start and it just magically appears. By third rifle season, we have have removed a...

    Tracking techniques for Rocky Mountains

I do kinda make that assumption, i am sure some do remove them. But there’s enough that don’t, to make it a problem. And not only is it used for tracking, but also to mark trails and roads so they don’t get lost driving or hiking the trails. And so their buddy’s when the come up can follow them...

    Tracking techniques for Rocky Mountains

I’ve seen flagging dangling in trees for several years, not my cup of tee, should be ticketed for littering if you ask me. Maybe write your name and address on them . I’ve never had an issue with paper. If your worried about patches of snow, rain wind, why not just use sticks, make an x or...

    Tracking techniques for Rocky Mountains

In the snow ? Why in the world would you need it in the snow, you can see the tracks themselves. Snow is the best tracking material there is ! Wind use a small rock or twig to hold it in place, same thing you would do with flagging.

    Tracking techniques for Rocky Mountains

Toilet paper is a far better marking material then flaging tape. Sucks seeing that tape laying around for years.

Ah, not really. Some things ( alot of things) just taste wayyyyy better deep fried. Just a couple, chili rellenos, wings and fries, fish. And yes I have had them all and many other things cooked in an air fryer by many who claim they are as good or better, it ain't even close. I do have and use...

    Eye sight not 20/20 ?

Weird question, but if you don’t have 20/20 vision and you are in manual focus,( camera) are you not going to “ compensate” for your eyes and being out of focus for the picture, video ? I wear glasses but still don’t have 20/20 vision. And I know when I look through binoculars or spotting...

Listened to Rogan today about the lunar landing…. What does Rokslide think?

I really don't care, don't think to much about it. Our government has always lied to us, just not to the extent it is today. Can't believe a word out of any bodies mouth anymore. The devil is taking over, as my mom said years ago when they took the flag and God out of schools. Now it's realy...

    Did it make the jump?

Yes they are, they are not living organisms, not a virus or any thing like that. They can’t be “ killed “ They can remain “ active” in the soil for ever basically. They disinfected the holding pens, and soil with bleach, and left them empty for years. Once deer were introduced again, they...
