Lots of feedback on the basic financial stuff
- Listen more than you talk.
- When you say you are going to do something, do
It.
- Develop a good work ethic, step up, offer to help when you do not need to. Both at work and in your community.
- Spend time around good people. No matter your...
The Montana system is certainly a dumpster fire. That said I agree with this change. If you want a LE hunt you apply for the LE hunt, if you want a general tag take the combo license. It should not be a have your cake and eat it too type of situation. These things are nice with you take...
I do not know the finer point of MT, but it’s always nice when they have to forfeit the assets too. Lose the rifle and the truck, he’ll even the boots for “evidence” makes it sting a bit more.

I do love some traditional cross cut Osso Buco. That said if you do not have the time, or interest to cross cut the bones or do not want to pack them out. You can also butterfly open the Shanks.
When you get home. Tie off the sections with butchers twine and cross cut them without the bone. The...
I appreciate the argument everyone is making against archery as an effective management tool, but game and fish departments are not looking at seasons purely for management, they do also consider recreational opportunity and user feedback. If it was a pure management decision primitive weapons...
That’s a great perspective. Also, even with dementia I think we always underestimate the knowledge our elders hold. As far as I am concerned, nothing beats life experience.

I do not believe they are. I think it’s just frowned upon to call any product S**t without qualifying it with experience/information. Otherwise it’s just rumor and drama. Not picking a fight at all, but that is what usually takes this stuff downhill.
Full disclosure I do shoot Barnes and...
I have a 6-8 person cannot recall. It is fine, the poles are junk mine broke on my first and they basically told me tough luck you might be able to find a part to fix it locally. The tent is ok, but after seen the quality of some other manufacturers and the level of service I do not think I...
Yeah, I know it’s a touted fishery, but honestly I am not big on fly fishing and I am more of a meat hunter. I am sure it’s an amazing experience, it just does not appeal to me very much. I will let folks with a passion for that enjoy the flats.

Thanks, yeah I see guys spearing up here on the coast in my area so I have been tempted for some time, but I need another hobby like a hole in the head.
I did see that we are looking at poles and slings, as I do not know what I am doing it’s likely best to keep
It simple anyway. I am just...
Thank you so much Dan,
I am just starting to dig into things as I will see everyone over Christmas so wanted to get the ball rolling on plans. Excited for the trip and the chance to see some new country/water. I might be bugging you again. Have a great night.
Best,
Phil

I have a chance to take a two week trip to Eleuthera island this summer in July. I have only fished on the west coast of the US so this will be my first time in the islands/Bahamas.
It will be a trip with my larger family (20 ppl +\-) so some other folks may be interested in fishing as well...
Ok, aside from all of the grief the OP is getting, what laundry detergent do you all use on your hunting clothes? I really hate scented laundry detergent in general (or scented anything for that matter) but unscented is kind of hard to find these days. I am also always curious about the UV...
Gag. Nothing better than calling someone a toddler for posting photos of success, by posting about how much better you are for not posting…

Understood. My comment was related to the concerns for devaluation of the property, not concerning the specific act of crossing the property and if it is/is not trespass.
That said, I would argue a fixed installation such as a deck or giant 30x50 fence os a different animal than a point of...
I can appreciate the concept, but I think that falls under assumption and speculation on the buyers part or due diligence. No more than having a piece of property with a great view then a neighbor building a tall house that blocks your view and devaluing your property as it no longer has a view...
Just curious, why not just freeze gallon water Jugs. I have done that for years and they can go through a handful of freeze thaw cycles.

I did not consider the youth element. But it seems they could eliminate that with different classes vs this mess. Make a youth only or resident hunter Ed class. And a bi monthly/quarterly field day open to anyone. Yes it would fill up quick as well, or reserve 50% of the class space for youth...
The whole thing is a joke. Basically screws everyone out of 300.00 if they want a chance to draw. If you don’t pony up you are at a very strong disadvantage. I was actually looking forward to the excuse to fly to AZ for a long weekend and take the class. Now it’s just a one time application fee...
