Are the magnets rusting through or do you think they are attracting a ferrous material thats coming from the area that youre hunting? Not sure if there is a high iron content in the coast hills or not.
The sig ranges way faster and has applied ballistics. If you’re just using it for archery either should be fine. If you plan to shoot a rifle the sig is the way to go in my opinion.
I use the Serac1700 for the same purpose as this bag. Plus is that after packing in you can swap it with your big bag and use it as a smaller day pack. Minus is that it is quite a bit more expensive. Regardless I like the concept. I usually put food in mine for the pack in.
The trajectory of arrows isn’t particularly flat which causes standard trig to not work well. They shoot short both uphill and downhill but to varying degrees.
This sounds like it does everything the full draw does with the exception of the max ordnance feature.
Yes. Its definitely an issue. If there is a zero stop and you can get back there easily than its not a huge deal. If the turret doesnt have a zero stop or lock then you are very likely to have it inadvertently spun. I would argue your better off with capped turrets than an exposed dial that...
This borderline felt like a troll… you want a nice leather gun sling made in Montana….?

This chart looks like its only accounting for DA changes. The MV change is going to be a much larger factor. In this case it could be 60-100 FPS depending on what powder you're burning. Thinner air plus a faster MV is going to make a decent difference.
The cirque is definitely warmer. It all really depends where yours at temp wise but I have a hard time picturing using the cirque as a layers piece. The Kenai definitely is a better option to me if you run hot or are looking for something active.
Ive said this before but the SG jackets...
Agreed. I guess I keep hearing about companies not sharing what their drop tests and tolerances on optics is. It’s been assumed when a tech service dude doesn’t have those answers that they don’t do anything. My question is more if gun companies and mount companies would share that info if you...
I know this post is about riflescopes and its optics sub forum but what have manufacturers of the firearms and mounts said about their drop tests?
I can tell you from a firearms saami testing perspective that if their isnt a safety issue the gun passes. I would be interested in seeing what...
There stocks are not super rigid so even if you float it the stock will likely come in contact when weighted. They probably would rather control how that happens then float it and have it contact in varying spots when weighted.
The 5k can pair to AB elite devices. Just put it in ABX or ABE mode and find it with the AB device. Works with kestrels and Garmin stuff. Pretty simple just need to make sure both are on for it to work.
Yah I went through and edited my post probably while you were typing this about the insulation. This is really a derail of this thread so Ill sign off after this.
Berry compliant does not make something made or assembled in the USA. The opposite also isnt true. Just because an item is...
You can look up the exact details of Berry (great catch btw, sort of a distinction without a difference but whatever) but it doesn’t apply to every product and even every part of a product. For the most part it applies to woven goods and hand tools. In the case of packs stuff like buckles...
