Out of curiosity, do you dry your boots near a heat source like a fire or furnace vent? I have never experienced a boot shrinking and certainly don't want that happening. My summits are about a year old and the fit seems the same as new, knock on wood.

I just use cheap Dr scholls extra support in soles. Still a huge upgrade from the ones that come with the boot.

I ordered mine last Thursday and got the shipment notification today.
Coming from an alpz commander freighter, which has worked really well for me after a few modifications but is getting pretty worn out. Excited to see if it's really the upgrade that so many people say it is.

I'm a little torn on the warranty. I just sent in a viper hs scope because frankly it sucks. Hard to focus and not nearly as clear as other vortex Scopes or even an old Nikon buck master.
The warranty department was kind and quick, but right on first contact in which I didn't give many details...
Thanks for bumping this back up. I've noticed the quick drying while hiking after getting soaked in rain but I never really thought about it. Good survival method to have in your mind on auto pilot.

I have been using a pair of summits for about a year now. Couple of issues, the type of leather loves to suck up water which then leaks through. After a whole bottle of Crispi waterproofer they are better but I was disappointed in that. Also the insoles are worthless. Finally, they do not...
I use the Leopold adaptor tray for a pair of 10x42's. For $18 I don't think you could go wrong. Plenty stable and solid plastic. I don't understand how Zeiss could possibly charge $218 for their adaptor...
That sounds very similar starting conditions as when the fuel pressure regulator went out in my gmc. That was a common issue on that model of Sierra though, not sure how similar the tundra would be. Fuel filter would also be worth changing if it's been a while

Different stove but still titanium. Per Brennan from liteoutdoors - Initial burn in only needs to be 10-15 minutes. It just needs to get hot enough to set the pipe, and a decent fire for 10-15 minutes would be
more than enough to do that. The body will probably get some color on it, but the pipe...
Idk if anyone has mentioned yet, hard to go through pages of responses about a belt, but the super cheap canvas or cotton belt with d loops work perfectly for me. Comfortable with a pack on, and micro adjustable. I'm using one that came with a cheap pair of cargo shorts I bought years ago but...
A pair of each- thin, medium weight and heavy weight would be ideal. You can't predict what the weather will be or the type of hunting you'll do. One day you may hike the whole day in 60° weather where a thin layer or no base layer would be best. The next day you may sit with little movement for...
What? Haven't you always had a third party servicing your loan? I used to have Navient but recently it switched to aidvantage. Frankly I'm waiting to see if 0% interest gets extended in may when it's up and if not I'll focus hard on knocking out the last bit I have. Either way, I wouldn't...
The name of your snack really got to me. We constantly have a packrat problem at our property in the mountains. Snack sounds good though.

My thoughts are that a top cap would definitely cause sparks to bounce back but it also sounds like whatever spark arrestor you have isn't working very well if it's as bad as you make it seem. The liteoutdoors stove pipe ends a good 2' above my tent and I have no noticable burn holes in about a...
They had youth and adult 22's. I don't think they had any crickett to shoot but did have one of the non fireable ones. The youth model my nephew shot was a little bigger then a crickett, and you only had to cycle the bolt to cock it. I think the crickett you have to pull back on the bolt.

Just took my nephew last week. The conclusion course we went to was at cherry creek gun club. They had a number of unfireable guns and snap caps for the kids to learn how each operates and they shot single shot bolt action 22's at the end of the course. The class was about 6 hours and there was...
