I know you don’t want to hear it but that sure cycle isn’t the best option. Once I switched to Wolff springs most of my cycling problems went away. And they are too cheap not to try. I would clean the entire trigger, lifter assembly with brake cleaner then lightly oil. I’ve also had problems...
Me too, I invested in several of these for that price. For an east cost set and forgot scope I don’t know what else you would want. I just wish the BDC lined better with my rifle at a 100 yard zero.

I just bought my son a Retay Gordon compact 20. It has stock spacers that made fitting him very easy. It’s a Benelli clone and operats and functions identical to my SBE.

Man that’s killer! Makes me want to try that too. That’s the problem with this place, it’ll never allow you to be content.

I could use some advice on load development. I have a 17” 1:8 243 I’ve been working on this summer. Shooting H1000 and 108eldm I have found an extremely accurate load at 47gr that yesterday stacked 6 in one jagged hole and the other 4 well within 1/2 MOA. However, it’s pretty slow at an average...
Thanks guys. I found a load with some 168tmks I had and H4350 that shot well. I’ll probably try to stick with that powder and try a heavier bullet.

That’s a great question and I’m in the same boat. I have a killer SML that I’d like to put a Maven on but can’t justify it sitting there most of the year not getting shot. With a good set of pic rings I could ideal switch this scope between rifles. I’m also thinking and putting a Maven in a set...
I just took one apart and it is 73.5 grains of powder that is stick powder but much finer than H1000 or 4831. The bullet is a flat base bullet.

I guess maybe I’m asking the wrong questions about this? Does anyone know the powder they are using in this load? I believe it’s a Speer bullet.

I have recently started working on my Browning A bolt 300wm and thus far I can’t find anything that shoots remotely a well as the federal blue box 180gr power shock.
I have tried 178eldx, 180gr interlock and 165gr interlock. With 4831sc and H1000 nothing comes close to those cheap blue box...
I’m running 2690fps out of a 17” tikka with 108s and 47gr of h1000. I got more speed from the 4350 but the h1000 gave better accuracy. Everything is loaded to standard tikka mag length. I’ve been very happy with this setup.

I have 2 .243 threaded 1/2x28 one tikka at 17” and a Model 7 at 16” my gun smith had no problems at all doing it and they get shot a lot. For what it’s worth, I do run a direct thread can with a 1/2x28 mount. No adapters.

Spend a couple hundred more and find a Cabelas Euro branded Meopta Spotter. I have one and I like it better than my buddies Swaro. The Cabelas branded ones seem to go for $1200-$1500 the Mepotas with the removable eye piece are around $2K. I did a lot of looking and researching, they were the...
I’m sure it has been explained clearly somewhere, but what is the concern with 1/2” threads on a .30 barrel? I have a couple and would like to know what to be looking out for. Im shooting a Harvester with a direct thread 1/2” Bravo mount. Is the thin barrel a concern because of barrel wear? Or...
