I am interested in the new Tacoma as it is the last of a dying breed.
It still offers a manual transmission
I'll give it a few years to get the bugs worked out. I'd like the off road with a manual and the front sway disconnect.
I've read the mileage is still so so compared to other 4 cyl...
I had that Hawke model, impulse purchase, sold it as I didn't have a need for it.
My only spotter so I don't know much about them in general.
The glass was clear, it was small and the weight seemed to be fair for what it is. Paired it with a Siri carbon tripod.
Watch Camofire and or Dvor for...
Thanks all,
Mine is a rubber type material with pack straps that come off. No wheels or hard bottom, not sure of the size.
I'm close to Rocky boots and hit the outlet store every few months. They were having a buy one get 2 free sale. I got this as part of my "2 free"
It will hold 10 days of...
Dang! You guys are serious :D
10 days I think, National parks like we do every year.
Weather dependent clothes, hiking/tourist activities.
Duffle is too big to carry on. Figuring a small day pack as carry on and then use it for our day trips.
Anybody ever use a large duffle bag for luggage?
Planning a trip to Washington state this summer to hit a few parks in the state. I just picked up a decent sized duffle at a good price and was thinking of using if for my checked bag.
I know I'd have to pack breakables like my shave kit...
I bought Ron's 7mm book the other day. Just thumbing through it, there is a lot of good information in it.
I like Ron, he's sort of like that goofy uncle or grandpa most of us had.
I don't think he takes himself that serious. And listening to his podcast, if he doesn't know something he says...
2019 still have a timing belt? I'd change it if so
I'd do all the fluids front to back, synthetics maybe?
My 09 4.0 Tacoma was the easiest vehicle I've owned to work on. I did all the maintenance
I replaced all the fluids with synthetic. I don't know if their is any real advantage
Shit...
That trailer, looks like a steel frame/steel grate deck/drop down ramp?
Tractor Supply or Rural king sells them pretty reasonably
Or maybe see what it would cost to rebuild it. Theres not much there, lights, wire tires, maybe tear the axle down, bearings, brakes, sand blast or wire wheel it.
Are you checked for a permit when you buy one?
I went to the local hardware store and bought one.
Power off, drained it, lines off, old one out, reverse order for install.
I am not a plumber but found it easy.
Oh and make sure the tank is full before powering up again. I burnt an element up...
