Hey Steve what are your thoughts on the gatekeeper ladder locks? Have you tested those much? I don’t like to use them on compression straps cuz I’m sure they have low tensile capacity but just curious if you’ve played around with them in your prototyping.

Thank you, ya it’s been tough to get out like I used to…but I had an opening this weekend so I took it. I was a little nervous driving out to where I shoot, I have a lot invested in the gun and was worried I’d leave again scratching my head.
When I saw that third round hit on top of the other...
Sorry good point forgot to mention I was really careful not to shoot any closer than 5min btwn shots. Seemed to work well!

My thoughts on these buckles is that they either a. Cost too much, b. Not strong enough for their liking or c. Are too hard to get in large quantities. Purely just guessing here tbh.
I’d love to know mark and Steve’s thoughts in these buckles though, they have been nothing short of amazing for...
I swap out most ladder locks on all my packs with these gatekeeper/ladder lock buckles that marsupial sells as part of their buckle delete kit. Three places on the K4 that are hugely improved with these are the load lifters, lid attachment points, and the bottom bag compression straps. With...
Here’s the bowspider in use with the bag about empty and the lid about half full. I could extend out the straps quite a bit if needed, this is about as tight as you can get the longer straps they sell.
I could see the benefit of mounting to the lid, although when the bag is crazy stuffed full...
Finally got out to test the Swaro X5 and warne rings (I have two kids less than 4yo and a wife who works weekends, so that makes it harder than you’d think to get out [emoji53]).
Not sure if it was the rings or the scope, but WOW what a difference today. I bore sighted the rifle, then adjusted...
Selling my Gnargali bag, I picked up an exo K4 and I’m just trying to thin out the bag herd a little bit.
I replaced the collar cinch with some reflective guyline, I’ll include the original paracord though if you want to swap it out. Chamber pocket included as well.
Bag is in very very good...
Got my 7200 this morning, what a purty pack.
Started mixing and matching some accessories from my kifaru and thought I’d share what I found:
1. The marsupial Nalgene pocket weaves nicely into the Nalgene molle, if you have one of these already it works fantastic with just the top molle...
At only 2oz more for the 7200 over 5000 the real debate here is do you need the horseshoe zipper. The bags will compress down, some extra space in the 7200 is definitely zero issue. I’m used to a kifaru Gnargali that doesn’t even have main bag zip access so I could really care less about the...
I’d size up unless you only do 3-4 day max hunts. Having the extra space is real nice on a 7+ day hunt where you’ve got a shit load of food etc

I’ve permanently mounted one to my marsupial harness, I had to buy some specialty bolts that were longer but it works great. For my kifaru I use the longer straps that bow spider sells and it works great ram through the load lifters. I’m excited to see how it works with my K4 7200 (got my...
After running kifarus since my last K3 in 2019, I love a bigger bag. 7200 all the way (and this is saying something since I ran the 3200 size bag when I used exo trying to be as cool as Steve [emoji1])

If you like the simplicity of just loading meat right into the bag and getting a little better overall weight distribution then consider the 7200. Otherwise the 5000 or 3600 will be just fine if you’re smart about what you’re packing

Hey mark sorry if this was already mentioned, but I have a whole butt load of kifaru and marsupial molle accessories and I’m wondering if they’ll work on the K4 molle pattern in the laser cut squadron fabric?
I’ve owned the K2 and K3 and hands down like you’re guys pack layout and designs the...
As unlikely as I know it might be, if anyone bought some NLs and is missing their old ELs, maybe we can make a deal.
I have a pair of EL 10x42s just back from getting serviced in Austria (took 4.5 months…) with brand new glass (all 4 lenses), armor, and eye cups. The new glass is the latest...
The scope has no problems that I know of and has barely been used. It’s in pretty fantastic condition since I pretty much only archery hunt these days.
I’ve been wanting to upgrade my scope for a while and figured it was the low hanging fruit to start with. The vortex is a pretty cheap scope...
