Yep, we get our elk about 50% of the years. two whitetail (wife and I) about every year. We also trade some deer and elk every year with Alaskan friends for red salmon.
But we sure enjoy the home-raised beef! It sells fast too!
Offering an immaculate Leica Televid 82mm angled spotter with the 25-50 wide angle zoom lens.
Fantastic optic, absolutely on par with the ATX 85mm, Harpia 85 and Kowa 88.
To my eyes the Leica has equal clarity and the best color rendition of all 'big eye' scopes and it's actually affordable...
Swarovski ATX 85mm objective, bought new a few months ago and still sitting in the factory box. Unused registration included along with other new bling.
This objective is the best all 'rounder for do-it-all glassing with its excellent 25-60 zoom--just right!
No disappointments.
$1350...
Yes, and they don't compare to EL or NL glass--at all. There is a reason that they were $700 not that long ago. Like everything else, their price inflated.
Nah, no dis meant here, but you're dreaming. Those days are gone as it relates to Toyota's truck offerings. That may change in time, but not for now.
Hey, I had a new one on order, it came in and I rejected it when everything was falling apart on the new '22s. Damn shame, but it was, and still...
Wait.
We thought about the all new GX 550 for wife, passed on that impulse due to the endless new turbo V6 / I4 engine & trans issues and ultimately bought an RX 350 a few years old.
Huge Toyota and Lexus fans, but since you are sincerely asking --avoid the newer stuff until Toyota/Lexus gets...
This X 10. Gave up helping new guys with OIL tags, (I've drawn them all here in ID.)
Once I learned that they post once for their hunt and never again, said t.h.w.t. .....
I haven't forgotten about you, J.J. Your sked makes it tricky to call, but we'll talk soon. I know that unit well and where the goats should be. PM your number if you would. F.
Announced plan:
Toyota and Lexus are recalling approximately 102,000 Toyota Tundra and Lexus LX600 vehicles due to potential machining debris that may be left inside the engines during manufacturing. This affects only the non-hybrid versions of the Tundra and the LX600 with the 3.4L twin-turbo...
To each his own, but after literally scores (hundreds?) of successful 'buy and sell' deals here I can't think of one thing to redeem your thoughts.
"Tiny hunting forum" --hard to imagine a better barometer for current market value than the RS, which is wildly popular and a great resource to...
I would call it so.
We're three model years into this vehicle and Toyota just finally announced a recall of 100,000 Gen 3 trucks for new engines. Cab off for every one of those.
If that isn't an unmitigated disaster, I don't know what is. Many of us so looked forward to the all-new Tundra...
I recently watched the 'leader of the free world' standing, grimacing and then semi-squatting as if he were crapping his pants. His First Lady quickly scampered away as if to avoid the resulting odor. True story.
Have never seen that before.
To bed 11:30-Midnight, up at 7am...always been a night owl. After covid for a couple of years I was up every morning at 5am for pre-market research (stocks.)
I'd be a zombie if I kept the early hours some of you keep...
