Went the same route, have used 139 Scenars in an out 6.5 Creed Tikkas for years. This past 2 years, once 130 TMKs have become readily available, have transitioned to that bullet. In our chopped 20-21” factory barrels it shoots around 2820 fps. Terminally, it seems to kill faster than the 139...
I love to shoot ground squirrels! Suppressed .22 LR with a wide meplat subsonic load is the best! I do love whacking them a suppressed .17 HMR or Hornet, too, though.
Another 3" Affinity owner. Never a misfire, my son uses it to shoot trap in HS rodeo, until we can get another gun. It is very similar to the Benelli M2. The Affinity in 3" has been a great waterfowling gun, too.
I would assume would be lighter with the floor plate. I have the Oregon gunsmithing bottom metal and it is lighter than the mag and factory plastic bottom.
I do a coarse grind, usually 3/8” or 1/4”, then a finer grind through a 3/16” plate. I’ve done both grinds through 3/16”, too, but ends up being a bit mushier than I’d prefer.
Kroil is good stuff, no doubt. Man, in that case I’d consider shipping it to the manufacturer to see if they can break it loose. That’s a bummer, for sure.
I been a hoarder of these, I bought a few when these were being closed out by GA Precision a few years ago. This one’s only been out of the box to take photos. Asking $825.00 shipped and insured. I can accept Venmo or a USPS money order.
