I don’t disagree with you guys that NR play a role in your woes and I don’t disagree that FWP could do a better job following your states code, BUT 400k more residents have exponentially more impact than NR that pay up to 20x of the amount as residents for the same opportunity.
Those new...
For a state that’s picked up 400k residents since 1980, and has projections for 200k more in the next 20 years, it’s definitely the nonresidents fault. It has to be, seeing as NR big game tags have been statutorily capped since the aforementioned population boom happened.

Hinge and blank bale.
Anything else will be you just convincing yourself you “fixed” the issue while further perpetuating it, which will make it harder to kick down the road.

If you’re here asking this question, one year out from your DIY elk hunt, you’d be better off to go on a back pack fishing trip.
Elk hunting is hard. OTC/general elk hunts on public land are harder still. The mountains are big, steep, largely devoid of game, and full of people. The amount of...
Easton 6.5s are ICS’s with a different graphic. Between 6.5s and gold tip hunters, I don’t think you can go wrong. I’ve gone down the rabbit hole on every arrow system there is, and a standard diameter shaft with a brass insert is all anyone that’s bow hunting or shooting 3D needs. The group of...
He’s a fellow out a central Virginia; Tail Feathers Taxidermy. Pretty tough to get on his list at the moment.
Another fantastic turkey taxidermist is Black Wings out of GA.

Whatever you do, don’t skimp on bird taxidermy. Stuff with head gear you can get by on less. True artistry is what birds deserve.

Spartan forge has already done it. It’s going to be released soon. It’s called “cyber scout”.
Chat GPT couldn’t build a hunt plan for units I know well. It couldn’t really create a hunt plan at all. Interested but terrified to see what spartan forge’s version can do.

If you can find the s&s poles, they’re awesome. A couple of my hunting partners have them. I’ve been through some cheapies over the years. Got a set of black diamond alpine carbon corks over the winter. So far, I really like them, but I don’t think they’re better than the s&s. You just can’t get...
I really like what GOHUNT did with the CRWM recently. For those that don’t know, they’d match your subscription amount in a donation to CRWM IF you used the code associated with that promotion.
Good on them for taking that initiative, BUT why is it a promo? Why not just make it standard...
I’d shoot whichever fit my center serving better.
I’ve had strings that x nocks fit better on, strings that a nocks fit better on, and plenty that neither fit well on so I redid my center serving to fit whichever nock I thought looked cooler at the time.

Easterns are fickle birds. I’ve had them see me from the blink of my eye. I’ve watched them spook at the glare on a blued barrel when the sun poked through and hit it. With that said, I’ve yet to have one spook and me say, “it was definitely the pants”. 9.9 times out of 10, he sees you moving...
I’m not worried in the least bit about the cost of a vane but in any business, selling 33% more product is huge. Archery is no different.
