Yes it is. The ultimate goal is for Bishop, Lee and the rest of our Utard delegates getting state control of Federal ground. Keep as much ground from being labeled a NM is step one...
Want to buy a soft sided cooler. Rtic has 25% off sale making their 40 $123. Experticity added a Yeti deal, making the Yeti Hopper 2 40 $279. Anyone have long term comparison on the Rtic vs Yeti soft sides? Obviously like the price of the Rtic, but if the new Yeti is worth the $$, nows a...
I use in my Cimarron during cold weather:
Helinox Lite Cot (the is new-only used on one trip so far)
Borah Lightweight Bivey
Big Agnes Q Core SLX
EE 10 degree quilt
piece of Tyvek under cot to give me something clean to stand on
I used my Cimarron with Lite Outside stove last week for UT elk hunt. I had my cot within arms reach of the stove and was able to get a firing going in a matter of minutes without leaving my bag. Hit snooze 2x's and finally got up when the tipi was all warmed up. Yeah...its worth it.
I have both the Attack and the Obsidian (just got them). At first glance, I was afraid the Obsidian wouldn't hold up, but have worn then half a dozen times Sage Grouse hunting, Elk hunting and they're holding up great. I think long term the Attack may hold up better, but I like the feel of the...
I was concerned with ^^this^^ as well. I just received mine and will be using it this weekend. I ordered the Bora side zip ultra weight in the Argon67 hoping that the side zip may help with getting some additional air in the bivy if I get hot. Earlier post mention getting a panel of the...
I'm new to the floorless deal, but just got a lightweight Borah bivey to use in my Cimarron to hopefully keep most of the condensation off my quilt/bag (in addition to stove).
....Anker Powercore 10000. I've bought 4 of them for myself, wife and kids and all have worked great. Looking at picking up an Anker solar panel as they rate pretty high.
Yes...I hunt later season and sometimes camp out for Chukar hunting late in the year. Don't plan on getting another quilt at this time. If it gets really cold, I'll add my Western Mountaineering Antelope bag to the mix.
Pad is a Big Agnes Q Core SLX (15 degree rating). I have a Borah ultralight Argon 67 side zipper bivy on order, which I hope to get within the next week. Last weekend I used the 10 degree quilt and pad in a Big Agnes 2 man SL Seedhouse tent. The bivy setup will be for my Cimarron floorless...
I just got a Revelation 10 degree and used it the other night during 40 degree outside temps. It was great, but I'm glad I didn't go any higher temp rating with the quilt, as I doubt this would actually be warm enough alone if it got down to below 20 outside...and I'm typically a hot sleeper.
Maybe it was the Goal Zero 7 panel you are using(?) I have the same and your right, it doesn't work well with a phone. Too low power coming out of the panel and it stops charging the phone, but the newer panels 7 Plus and 14 Plus are suppose to have corrected this. The Anker panels rank high...
