We can thank our professional game managers for so wisely using the millions of dollars we’ve paid them for the wonderful quality of game animals today compared to years prior.
And let’s not forget conservation outfits like RMEF, which started as a small group of hunters with the motto...
I’m not discounting the value of rehab. I am discounting the “one size fits all” that I experienced. I’m confident that if I’d followed the doctor’s and PT’s advice I wouldn’t have recovered as quickly and completely as I did.
Those I know who did same also rehabbed quicker than those I know...
I think what makes it most difficult for the masses to eat healthy is lifestyle. Both parents needed to hold jobs to pay taxes and insurances, kids in extra curricular activities, little time or energy to prepare real food. Fast and or convenient food is not cheaper than good non-processed food.
Regarding trauma I’m a huge fanboy of Western Medicine
If I’m going to be hauled in all busted up I’ll pick America over virtually anywhere except maybe Germany.
Even regarding rehab though I will (and have) avoided their one-size-fits-all routine as well as their health care advice.
^^^this^^^^. Fat is brain food. Of course no government wants a smart populace.
My wife had followed the official narrative all her life. Had weight issues her entire life. Got so she couldn’t hardly negotiate stairs due to pain. She started researching the internet and decided to go keto...
Curious, how old and how healthy and active is your doctor?
As an aside: it’s interesting to me to hear how commercials assume you “have a doctor”. Like “my lawyer”. I don’t have either.
What exactly qualifies one as an “expert” anyway? Learning to regurgitate the official narrative, getting some letters by your name and receiving the official permits and licenses to do your job accordingly; and if you deviate from that official narrative you risk losing your...
Back in the late 70’s or early 80’s when cholesterol became a “thing” my grandmother had hers tested. I recall her “number” was 384. What exactly that was measuring I don’t know other than it was astronomically high. She ignored it. Lived to about 85. Died of hepatitis if I recall correctly. I...
I went into a doctor to have an annoying sebacious (sp?) cyst removed from my back. I pulled off my shirt and he says “ oh, you’re fit! Do you eat healthy?” I said “Yes, mostly red meat, mainly Elk, eggs, bacon, cheese some beer and wine. I avoid vegetables and fruit” He says “The Chinese...
First Rockslide elk kill of 2024 with the Rockslide Special?

How often has anyone had their rifle checked for caliber by LE?
When I was a kid in Wisconsin we couldn't use anything other shotguns with slugs below Hiway 29. I remember seeing several guys hunting with rifles.
My wife and I have several friends and acquaintances who have or had issues from the shot; several with heart issues, typically slow moving cancers that advance quickly; not to mention all the miscarriages and strange menstrual effects to young women. Many have associated it directly to the...
If I'm getting chewed on I may use John's line.
( Most of the younger crowd probably haven't heard this)
Edit: wrong video , will try again.
Cant't figure it out. Oh, maybe.......

Jerry Clower - A Coon Huntin Story
Conventional mathematical/statistical understanding would say I had a 50/50 chance to get it right.
No. Not me.
It's like supposedly 50% of all people are below average intelligence. There's just no way
that's correct. Gotta be more like 90%.
Funny thing about math. I can't explain it. But...
