All you need is a 6.5 Creedmoor die, H4350, brass and projectiles.
Any range is full of Hornady 6.5 brass and people shooting factory ammo are more than happy to give you the brass.
Loading 6.5 Creedmoor is easy and get excellent results. 41.5 grains H4350 with 140 ELDM or 143 ELDX is the...
Howa Mini 6 ARC got some range time today. 108 grain ELDMs over 27.5 grains of Varget 2700 FPS 22” barrel.
Hitting steel at 800 yards. So easy to spot hits.
Shot my 6.5 Creedmoor Tikka UPR today. Great cartridge. Well balanced for the bench and the field. Those 143 ELD-X were bucking the wind today allowing several 800 yard hits on steel.
Banish Backcountry direct thread 5/8x24. Great hunting suppressor. Lightweight and short. It’s not the quietest can but that’s not what I’m looking for.
FYI the UPR is simply a CTR barreled action with a 20 MOA rail. I bought a 308 UPR and put my 6.5 CM CTR barreled action in the UPR stock and the 308 in the CTR stock. You can swap them around.
CTR has a 0 MOA rail, Sako S20 has a 0 MOA pic rail machined into action, UPR comes equipped with a 20 MOA rail.
The UPR has the best stock of the 3 IMO.
I'd be interested in your UPR stock as well. I wouldn't sell it though. I had KRG Bravos and prefer the UPR stock. It's lighter, has a great vertical grip and palm swell and has better ergos for hunting IMO. My 20" barrel 6.5 CM UPR is my primary hunting rifle.
Old thread I know but I am looking at this exact scope for a CVA Scout in 300 Blackout with a suppressor. I bet at 1.5X the can will be very visible in the FOV.
Zeiss has rolled out two new magnification powers for the Conquest V4. They have added 3-12x44 and 3-12x56 options with their ballistic turrets. I really like these power ranges. The 3-12x44 on Euro Optic has an intro price of $850. Great deal IMO
