I know you can get sights that get to that level with add ons but what they released doesnt seem like it should be that high. To me the scope looks like a cheaper verison but rechargable. I am shooting a V3 and have newbotis pretty bad as well.
Who is going to be the Mathews/Ultraview fanboy that spends $700 on a sight.... cant wait to see the marketing hype behind that.
I do love the tuning system though. Great way to get around Bowtech. I think hoyt may top them for sales this year. Im not sure a new grib and the integrated tuning...
Just a quick review here on the beast. I used the 2.3". Took my son out with me on Saturday for the first time, (he is 3 almost 4). Told myself the first animal that comes out was going to get shot. At 47 yards had 2 deer come out and they pin pointed us as any kid can't sit still. I knew I had...
Go three pins whatever you choose.
Spot Hogg - too big of a housing and heavy (unless you spend $$ for a boonie), everything else rock solid
MBG - everything is good except I think the dial wheels are hard to turn and not smooth
HHA - best all around just wish they had a 1st axis adjustment
Sounds like Dan Staton (ElkShape) had a bad experience with them on a bull this year. I really do like the content Josh, Tim and Dan all put out and think they have good thoughts on broadheads.
Field Report- shot a doe yesterday at 34 yards broadside. I am somewhat disapointed. I got a pass through but the arrow didnt go all the way through, just stuck out the other side. I hit a rib and went through it but it bent both the bleeder and main blade. Entrance and exit holes were barely...
My v3 actually likes a stiffer spine. I shoot 28.5 at 75lbs with a 250 spine that has 175 grains up front. I can get 300 spine arrows to shoot like darts with field points but once I put a fixed blade on it doesnt like that.
I would agree with that. Looking at the pictures Dialed has with their multiple head configurations now I think thats a step in the right direction for them. Having set pins never makes sense to me and I would think would limit sales.
IMO the only issue I see is the price point. The UV, Canyon Pounder, and Dialed are way over priced. Those three don't solve anything that a Spot Hogg, MBG, or HHA dont do at a lower price point. More power to them to sell them at that but they might actually make a dent on market share if they...
Ours just kicked the can last night. Getting a whirlpool. Current one was a Frigidaire but I'm sure the cheapest one the builder could find. It was very loud.
My FIL just had a stint put in last week after having minor discomfort. Had 90% blockage on the widowmaker. He is 50+ and bikes roughly 50 miles every weekend and walks at least 50 miles a week. Very active and fit but as T&K mentioned genetics dont care. Listen to your body and have the tests...
