    Depends on what matters. I wanted something that just worked. Damned if my Tikka doesn't put 10 rounds in under 1" cold to hot..... factory stock, didn't touch the ribs under the barrel, I don't even clean it..... it keeps doing the same thing.

    TLDR: If you don't want your bolts to come loose, remove oil, use loctite, and use a torque wrench if you have too. I work with bolted joints..... a lot. From hydraulic tensioners, hydraulic wrenches, torque wrenches, bolt heaters.... al kinds of sizes from little machine screws to stud...

    Seems to work fine here. 10 shots at almost 3/4 inch, cold to hot @100 yards. SWFA 6X, Sportsmatch Rings, basically what Formidilosus recommends to everyone. ELDx 147g over on my loads.

    I saw that one.... It's a 4 hour drive when there isn't a issue with a mud slide. Right now Cheyanne Mountain Shooting Complex looks to be the best option close by.

    I daily carry 4 knives.... Key chain Leatherman, Leatherman Wave, and two others just for fun.... usually a Case Peanut and something else. For an only one knife, a Mora would be a great choice..... or a Leatherman Wave or 300 along with some fire starter setup.

    They aren't really a precision made instrument. If they were, they would cost more than the rifle. They are meant to get you on paper at 25 yards and you work it up by shooting.

    Form talked me into a 6.5CM Tikka, sportsmatch ring, and SWFA 6x combo. 10 round group cold to hot. I've got major changes going on (moving to Colorado soon). Once that is done and I can load 1000 rounds, I'll start shooting like Form has laid out here...
