    There are quite a few WMAs and Core land to hunt all over the state. Do some scouting and get far away from public access points ! Go where none of the hunters are willing to walk to.

    Elmax vs s90 vs M4

    Out of those 3, Elmax is my favorite. I have 2 fixed blades, one quartered a complete elk with just a strop required to bring back the edge. The next one quartered 3 deer this year, with some very minor stone and strop work to get it back hair popping…it is slightly not as “tough” as 3 and 4v…...

    I have the Vellus set and it’s great. Warm and very quiet.. if you’re a stand hunter, it’s great to maybe high 30s with decent base layers.. anything under that, you will definitely need more.

    EDC Knife Choice - Want Edge retention and sharpness

    I edc a Microtech LUDT…almost a 3.5” blade in m390. But: if you don’t have a grip on the handle, it will try to jump out of your hand. Much easier to clean and maintain than an OTF
