    Heading down for a GA Hog hunt.

    Heading down with a buddy for a camping/hog hunt. Gonna be taking my recurve and I believe were setting up in swallow creek wma at the end of the week! I dont have any expectations but would love to hear anythign you have to offer tips tricks suggestions whatever- never hunted hogs before.

    So i think I'm gonna try some 75 grain inserts, maybe also 125 grain heads then cut as needed o tune, assuming i cut down to around 29 inches thatll put me around 430ish so right around 10 gpp.

    I'm pretty confident, when I do what I'm supposed to I'm amazed at the accuracy and groups. Ive shot some longer 400 black eagles with extra weight up front that flew ok too.

    What are your thoughts on a hinge style release. And do you hunt with one?

    I switched to a hinge this year and after a few weeks i could tell i wouldn't switch back. Even for hunting, none also has a safety (sweet spot) which makes it much easier to make that call. All though right after i drove head first into recurve and havent shot my compound in months
