Garmin instinct and tracking app

So I have been looking into this watch a little bit and have a question on tracking location. If you or wife has the app on their phone can they use the app to find the location of the watch? We have a similar watch for the kids where we can ping there location and was wondering if this watch has the same capability just thru sat GPS rather than cellular. TIA

I have the watch and am dont know that it has that feature, following incase I can learn something new

I did find an option called livetrack but it needs a phone and cell service.
