Suppressor Rods and Barrel Alignment WTF?
I’ve never seen the need for a rod unless it’s for something like an AK or pistol where you can’t look down the bore. For bolt guns and AR’s, just pull the bolt and look down the bore. If the suppressor is crooked you will see it. -

In theory still has a bunch of life in it but lately it’s developed a shake that has been expensive and frustrating to track down. Ruger American Ranch vs ?
The only other option I can think of at the moment is to get a Howa 1500 barreled action and pick out a chassis or stock you like. They go on sale at Brownells fairly often. Easy button is the Ruger -
Lets talk predator calls--
I really like my Foxpro x24. Very clear sound and the remote has a long range. If you plan to add sounds it’s a total PITA though. Their program is outdated and finnicky.- TxLite

6mm ARC Velocities
It seems possible but likely barrel dependent. Mine is sitting around 2538 with a brand new barrel. I’m expecting it to speed up though. At my elevation (400’) my velocities in my 16” get me just past 500 yards. -

I did 16” and regret nothing. Factory AAC 77tmk is doing 2630fps For the distances I plan to use it there’s no issue and it is very convenient to carry -

6mm ARC Velocities
That was the same goal I had but 500. Should be right there with the 16” Haven’t decided if I will hand load for it yet. Time has been hard to find for it lately and this factory ammo seems to shoot well enough. Kept the brass just in case. -
