Trying boots on is the only way to know for sure. Get on gohunt (they have a huge selection) or another site and order up a bunch of different boots in different sizes. See what feels good and return the rest. Try out the ones you keep and hopefully they work after break-in. If not, repeat the...
I personally haven't found the Arctic Shield's to do much, but it sounds like I'm in the minority (maybe user error?). Have known some guys that use the OR booties once in stand and say they work pretty well.

From what I’ve seen, most target archers run hunting sights on their hunting bows. I think that kind of answers the question. A good hunting sight with a good tape should be pretty accurate. As with most things, we’re the weak link.
I saw good numbers on FB marketplace and craigslist (granted in a pretty suburban area). It was earlier in the summer so maybe it was just recent grads unloading theirs, but probably worth a look.
I have an electric standing desk in the office, bought myself one of the table top ones for home. Not sure on brand but the office one is a nice L-shaped unit that’s super solid. The table top one is kinda heavy and a little shaky now that I have two monitors on it. When I lift it up, it also...
I'm actually in DC proper. Not ideal, but the new job is helping with housing and they assumed since I'm young I would want to be in the city. Just means extra windshield time for the next year or so when I want to get to the woods.
Have checked out some state land in Maryland and been using...
Hey everyone,
I've been on Rokslide for a bit but recently moved to the DMV area and figured I would say hey and see who else might be in the region. I'm looking forward to exploring some new areas down here, especially the larger public tracts further west in VA.
I'm originally from CT and...
Yea, I was considering at the very least going to amsteel daisy chains on the sticks to get rid of the metal buckles and maybe adding an aider or two. A friend just ordered everything to one-stick so I'll probably try that out and see if I like it before spending anything.
I assume you're...
I find my saddle more comfortable than my hang-ons and about the same as my summit climber. After 5-6 hours I find anything pretty uncomfortable and full day sits in the saddle can wear on you. I'm also a pretty trim 6'1" 195 and have heard that having a "wider seat" (being larger) gives the...
I’m in CT, but visit Boston a lot. Heading to SD in October. Would like to get another one in, starting to think about planning AZ coues for late Dec/Jan. If I can’t make that happen, I might try hunting the White Mountains or Adirondacks (more for the change of scenery than expecting success haha).
I’ve heard Remi Warren say that he takes a pair of foam dollar store flip flops, cuts off the toe straps and then puts them in pair of wool socks. I haven’t personally tried it, but would imagine it works if he’s using it.
