I like to see what other people are doing, get everything from traditional weightlifting to Tai Bo in here.
Some of it is to share my own workouts so someone out there might see something different and decide to switch it up.
Generally it's just to let the next guy know someone else is...
New unit/area again this year. E-scout for some generics, basically enough to find vehicle access from the four cardinal directions, water, local trail systems, and 3-5 areas to focus on that are close but separate.
I’ll show up 3-5 days before season opens and confirm access and water, glass...
The human mind will create powerful reinforcement to support goals, some will be habits, others will be subconsciously related to that goal. On this forum, lots of guys have goals of easing through high altitudes and endless endurance come whatever hunting season. They build towards that as the...
My uncle made me one about 30 years ago, still have it, probably one of the most useful bits I’ve ever been given. Made three for my daughter, nephew, and a niece for their first hunts.
I’d never considered making them for profit…🤦
If they’re already loaded, send it. The difference being shooting for accuracy and pressure instead of just shooting to find pressure. You may see good indicators, albeit limited, in your two shot group fluctuations if you take your time.
One of the best decisions you can make right there. Your body turns into a different kind of machine when you eliminate certain things, alcohol being one of them. I like beer as well, but the older I get the more I prefer performance and a sharp mind to adult beverages.
Nailed it.
@Luked you can get as complex as you want, but keeping it simple gives you 98% of the end result.
Unless there is a specific safety consideration, I go down 2gr-2.5gr from book max and load in .5gr increments like @JFK does. Find pressure, back it .6-1gr and load up for...
The other folks have put out good insight already and there are piles of material to read or listen to. I would add ELD-M or similar bullets that fragment early after penetration are incredibly efficient in damaging internal soft tissue. I think technically the ELD-X is considered a delayed...
+1 for in front of the mag well, 3-4” in length allows for some adjustment but is always proximal to the balance point, and more importantly, allows for shots at steep angles
I’m damn sorry to hear it, something is obviously off. My pet med knowledge is limited to physical injury and some real basic internals, so not much help. I hope the pup pulls through and is just fighting a bug or ate a sock or two.
Pain, stress, infections are usually result in appetite changes like what you’re describing. Have you tried a short training session with whatever rewards the pup likes? A real quick and basic obedience session with a handful of treats will sometimes get a good response.
I’ve yet to meet a dog...
Did pressure tests with 6.5PRC ADG brass with H1000 and N565 combos of F210M/F215M. Taking these guys out for accuracy test tomorrow and will crank a few hundred to last through summer/fall.
