Thanks guys. That's what I was looking for. I new MT had some good options. Shrek, what do you mean by value, numbers or trophy potential? Because I've never even seen a Mule deer in person, so value is subjective.:)
I was listening to the MeatEater podcast with the guys from Western Hunter magazine. They made the point that it is much better to hunt than wait for PP to build for a great unit. Basically they said, hunt OTC elk in Colorado in a unit that you can draw easily for Mule deer (every other year or...
I just bought my first trad bow off Archerytalk, a like new Samick Sage #55 for $100. The guy even had upgraded to a brand new flemish twist D10 string. I really like it. I'm sure I'll upgrade in the future but the rule is, I have to kill a deer with it first and I'm a lot of practice away from...
Well, looks like I made a good choice then! I still haven't dicided if I want to order the CDS or just use the moa turret on it and make a card to tape to my stock.
I was at cabelas yesterday and picked up this frame in the bargain cave for $59 it's missing the top bar, but that doesn't seem to effect function. Does anyone use this frame? If so, do you add lashing straps, or just use a dry bag and the compression panel. Just trying to get an idea of my...

I'm looking at the Leupold vx-2: $280, Nikon Prostaff 5: $240, Vortex Diamondback HP: $259 and I really like the Cabelas/meopta Euro Instinct but it's $350 so definitely at the high end for me. Prices are with friends and family discount at Cabelas. I'm going after work today. I've looked...
Yeah you are so right, Bruce. He thought they were his innocent friends. We know, though, they cannot be innocent or guilty, friends or enemies. They simply are. It was only tragic because he drug that girl down with him. Great film.
I finally watched the Herzog doc about Timothy Treadwell. I gotta say, I couldn't look away. It was really well done, though, that dude was a freak show!
I think he is a microcosm of what is wrong with most "animal welfare" people. He makes the mistake of anthropomorphism with the bears, and...
Yeah you can't do it on the Maps app that came with the phone because it requires realtime downloading. Where as the apps like Gaia allow you to download before hand.
