I bought the 7200, not regretting it so far. The 7200 is only 2 oz heavier than the 5000, and the lid weighs 7 oz, so my plan is to run the 7200 without a lid or hip belt pouches. The bag compresses down nicely, I think it's gonna work out pretty well. I got the 26.5 frame with medium hip...
Sure, and that's great. But you bought into a system that allowed you to buy points for 1 hunt. Changing the rules to allow you to spread them out over multiple hunts harms opportunity for everybody. Colorado hunting shouldn't be managed for the benefit of the good old boys who bought into the...
Point banking will hurt opportunity for younger hunters. The old timers with lots of points will start peeling them off and drawing multiple low-to-mid range hunts and drive point creep on ordinary hunts through the roof. I'm sorry, but if you saved points for 20 years, you made a mistake...
You might be on to something here. Maybe release the wolves in the counties that voted in favor of reintroduction? Plenty of great habitat in Denver, Boulder, Jefferson and El Paso counties. Dog parks are technically public land, just saying....
I have two seasons on the same bag, love it. 30 degree rating is very conservative, it's warmer than the 20 degree Thermarest synthetic bag that I use at the truck. Good deal for somebody.
Here ya go! https://thomasbreads.com/recipes/thomas-french-toast I cut it in half and use 1/2 cup of milk and 1 egg when I'm by myself. I usually follow that up with sausage and eggs in the same pan. I love the non-stick pan, because I can just wipe it with a paper towel when I'm done.
Cinnamon raisin french toast. Buy a loaf of cinnamon raisin bread, milk, butter, eggs, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix some milk and an egg in a small tupperware container, shake a little cinnamon and nutmeg in there, soak your bread slices and throw them in a pan with a little butter. Way easier than...
I agree. Guessing your results from CC hits isn't perfect, but it's better than nothing. I just fired off my New Mexico application last night, and it was nice to know that I (probably) don't have an Arizona tag.
I'd second what Hthnrdr said. If you chase the "better" draw odds, you're going to end up hunting above 11,000 feet, which is a major risk factor all by itself. Whenever I swing for the fence on these lottery ticket tags, I alway stop and ask myself "would I actually be excited to draw this?"...
