Trials bike vs dirt bike/TW for hunting.

Guess two attachments was a little too large. Also look at the Ubco 2x2 e bike.

Trials bike vs dirt bike/TW for hunting.

If your on goat trails where your dabbing a bunch, another option is the Rokon or Christini. 2x2 bikes really help a bunch getting through obstacles at slower speeds. Power isn't needed if the gearing is low enough. I ride most weekends all styles of offroad/mx bikes and there is no...

Trials bike vs dirt bike/TW for hunting.

I had a TL125 and TL250 along with the TLR200's. The 250 clearly had more power but the others were sufficient with lowered gearing and much lighter. There's a guy out of Tennessee that sells a 10t front, 50t back combo that really makes the TLR goat trail friendly. Course top speed is then...

Trials bike vs dirt bike/TW for hunting.

Been using 87 TLR 200's for 30 years. They are not perfect but will work in technical areas. I've got a trail 110, mx bikes, xr's, and a Rokon, and probably use the TLR the most.

Tripod Comparison: Slik 634 vs Sirui T-024 vs Sirui 7C

Thanks for the review. I ordered the Sirui months ago and like it, never tried the slik and always wondered if I was missing out.

    Break pellet guns

Check out airguns of Arizona. I bought a Weirach hw95, amazing for a break barrel, trigger is superb. Rates higher than the Diana models. Weirach makes the high end Beemans. I believe the hw 95 is an R1.

    Spotting scope on a budget

The 50 doesn't get enough light, especially compared to the cheap vanguard 82 HD. It's FOV isn't as good. It is amazingly clear, much clearer than a viper hd or vanguard (for reference). Their glass must be of great quality. I'm looking for a little bigger swaro for long range glassing...

    Spotting scope on a budget

Still have it and probably will keep it for my son. It's pretty decent. I'm getting a swarovski so I won't be second guessing the clarity. I have a Nikon ED 50 that is much clearer, almost perfect, but a little too dim in the morning and evening.

    Spotting scope on a budget

I'm looking to buy an ats or sts 65 swarovski, but this photo is at 1400 yds with the vanguard endeavor 82 ED. Was holding the phone to the eyepiece so wasn't the best shot. Got some video too.

does anyone only carry 1 knife for hunting

I carry a havalon almost 100% of the time. Sometimes a buck 110 with a diamond sharpener. Sometimes a morakniv with a diamond sharpener, all depends what pack I grab. I messed up in 2010 and switched packs, didn't transfer my knife over, and proceeded to kill a bull with my bow 2 miles...

    Whites lochsa boots

Bought a pair of the Owyhee in August for bear, archery elk seasons. Probably 150 miles on them, so far so good. Do have one bent eye that I caught on a motorcycle foot peg. These were purchased to save some wear on my mountain extremes and for warmer hunts. I tried these on next to...

    280 AI for elk?

I've wanted a lightweight 280 ack for years. It's perfect for elk out to 500, maybe further with the right high bc heavy bullet. That said shot placement is of most importance on elk. They are strong. As much as I want a 280 ack, my next lightweight rifle will probably be a 3006, just to...

    Nosler Accubonds vs Partitions

Partitions always perform as expected. All others seem to have varying results. I've been switching over to accubonds and eldx just to extend my range a little more, and since they are cheaper, but I trust the partitions much more. Also, I do get great accuracy (.75moa) with the 175gr...

    Motorcycle Hunting

I have a Rokon, a TLR 200, ktm300, and honda rancher 4x4. For hunting, it all depends on the terrain. I prefer the quad, but on single track trails I have to use a motorcycle. If the trail has rough spots and I don't have help to man handle it, then I take the Rokon. We go places that you...

    Bipod or no bipod?

Yes to the big Harris bipod. Been using it since 98 and feel it really helps extend my accuracy at range. Used to use my pack but now use a combo of the pack in back and bipod in front. If I'm going ultralight I might ditch the bipod.

Bring good binocs and a spotting scope, and a phone scope adapter, lots of cool photos to be taken. I wish I spent some time fly-fishing there.
