    AAE Hybrid Phnx

My plan was to give them a go for spring turkey off an elevated rest and see how that goes. I do have concerns about them coming off the shelf clean. I've played with Trad vanes quite a bit over the last year and I agree, durability sucks, they suck to fletch but they are quiet!

Which broadhead are you guys using?

Various Cutthroats in 125, 150, 200 depending on bow/tune and species hunted. Have used Bear Razorheads, Magnus Stingers, Valkyrie in the past.

Oooohhhh this makes me want to order some static recurve limbs for my Jackal!

    Limb silencers

As for putting felt on the limb butt and inside the pockets, another thing that works really well is using “Stealth Strips”. They’re ultra thin and have a felt like feel to them. If you’re an eastern whitetail guy or a saddle guy then you know what I’m referring too. I always put a small strip...

    AAE Hybrid Phnx

    I wasn't aware there was a gen 1 and gen 2 vane....

    AAE Hybrid Phnx

I haven’t fletched up a set with these vanes yet but I had a chance to visit my buddy who has and he said he just glued them on with no prep. I also shot several groups with his arrows and was able to compare Trad Vanes side by side with the Phnx. Flight wise I didn’t notice much difference off...

    Stalker Stickbows????

Welp...knowing that RMS posts new/used bows on Friday I thought, "Lets see if I can score a P2P" and what do I see? A Stalker Coyote FXT ACS longbow for a good price! I already know I'll be sending this back to South for a grip reshape and maybe a weight reduction but we'll see once it arrives...

    AAE Hybrid Phnx

Anybody played with these yet? Are they truly no prep required? As in, no primer pen? Just glue and go? I'll still clean the shafts with the wipes but I'm really curious if I need to do anything else.

    Stalker Stickbows????

I don't like the glamour shots unless its a really fancy bow which the SL's are not. I'm also interested in the P2P but I'm waiting for the 17" walnut versions to show up on the website.

    Best quiver for takedown bow

Bolt up limbs? My go-to is a Great Northern quick mount on all my bows. You can get a strap mount too. Quick and easy to remove and the arrows stay in the quiver.

    Stalker Stickbows????

I’ve had five Stalkers in the last 10yrs. First was a used Wolverine FXT which I shouldn’t have sold. Second was a Coyote XT with a really high grip that I hated and sold. Third was a Coyote ACS longbow which had a better grip that I still didn’t like and I could never get rid of the vibration...

    Ground blinds

Baronett Bike Mike for me. I'm 5'7 and can stand up and shoot my 60" bows out of it if I remove the mesh. Seated, I can shoot thru the hole in the mesh windows no problem. Paid $136 shipped for mine.
