    Some physicians believe waist/height ratio is a better measure of fitness than BMI. https://www.nebido.com/low-testosterone/waist-to-height-ratio It is for me. At 175 lbs my waist runs 32”. Center of the healthy range for W:H ratio. But still overweight by BMI chart.

    5’10” 34” waist. 44” chest. 72” wingspan. 11.5 shoe. 200 now. I’ve hunted at 190. 175-180 will feel better. I did my first 3-mile run in years last weekend. It felt really good (45 degrees w/sun helped). Planning to run, and alternate 5x5 strength workouts. And no carbs for Lent! I’m 58.

    My system for my first deer hunt was a USAF N38 style parka, orange hat, cotton waffle long johns under two pair of jeans, cotton b-ball socks with k-mart snomobile boots, and generic orange mittens. And a 20ga single shot with remi slugs. I froze, saw nothing, and was hooked for life.
