At composite stocks, or mesa precision. I have the mesa 2 of them actually. They are great to deal with. I would maybe skip the proof, they have had some right bore issues lately I don’t know if they have gotten them figured out. Inwould talk to carbon six, and also call and talk to Pederson...
I guess I would be worried about the load changing with the shorter barrel. The load might shoot good and it might not it’s kind of just a gamble. I would personally leave it alone since you already have accurate loads. Specifically because this cartridge is a barrel burner.
I have a lane can along with the lane cover. Mine works very well. I don’t know how well it would work on other cans. It does hang off the back so it doesn’t creep forward.
Wow I’m still really thinking about the 3200. I was in your store on Monday, came from Nd for skiing in Bigsky. We stopped at Bobwards and Toby I think his name was, the Leica rep, he had the geovid pros with him, let me play with them in the store, and the noctivids also. Now in the store I...
Cool. We are going scouting g this weekend for my wife’s moose. We already got some pictures of nice size bull from a farmer we know up in the area. Good luck to you. Excited to see what esle you see and your hunt. What did you do for sleeping arrangements? Did you just stay in Medora or...
I have had good luck with the hornady tool. Deeper means seating the bullet so it will measure shorter. This should decrease pressure because you are further from the lands. But if you are compressed that could also change things too.
If you can get the 90g gamechangers I would try them. They shot good in my daughters Remington 700 243. That load is with varget and cci200 .020 off the lands.
The titanium pro tiny, how would it take the recoil on a 243 for my daughter? Also how is the precusion at the shooters position? I don’t want it to freak her out. Is this a self timing break for $180?
If you can’t mount and get the scope we’re you want it they make rings for a rail too. I’m guessing you were trying to save the weight of a rail though.
I run a 22-243. It’s built on a bighorn action, mesaprecision stock, 26” barrel. 75g a max at 3500fps. It flattens a coyote now and is flat shooting. Running a vx5hd 3-15x44 scope on it too. The target picture is from one morning at the range checking new lot of powder, was 200yards no wind...
These new offering have matched reticle to turrets. Have second focal plane and first focal plane options. I believe the 5-20 accu point is the only one with moa turret and mil reticle. Take a look at the new lines.
