    Cast & Blast with small game

    Killed a turkey on a lake last year and had two days of walleye fishing. It was a great trip. Was hoping for two birds, but windy and rainy conditions weren’t great for the turkey hunt. Walleye didn’t seem to mind though.

    .22 Magnum for deer, moose or bear?

    Local butcher that comes to the farm to butcher hogs and beef. He uses a .22 Mag between the eyes from 10-25yds and they all drop on the spot. Hard to say how many thousands of animals he’s killed with that old Savage rifle. Still not choosing a .22 Mag for my next elk hunt though…

    G5 Blu Glu was the most durable stuff I used. Takes a bit to dry, but holds really well.     Agree with the above. Howa is a much better built rifle. Accuracy is a tossup.
