    I trim the fat off a bear like any other animal. I don't go crazy about about it, there's always a little bit left, whether it's deer, elk, bear, moose or antelope. Never had any issues.

    I cross often into the US from Canada with firearms. As a license Canadian gun owner, I don't have to transport my non-restricted firearms locked and encased as long as I am in the vehicle with them. That being said, I would never cross the border with unlocked firearms outside of a gun case...

    Movement and scent is what you should be most concerned about. I killed my last bear wearing solids and plaid, from the ground at 50 yards, no blind.

    Like stated above, likely too hot in your house for it to solidify. Throw it in the fridge or basement.

    Moose will still move around when it's hot out, they just do it early or later in the day. The biggest thing with hunting a moose-sized animal in warm weather is having a plan for if you do get one.

    Recently retired from the Army just shy of two decades. Retired as a Sergeant Major as my last appointment. I'm now a civilian manager in the same department. No more stress and I get to watch the army guys run around like chickens with no heads. Good times!

    No. Going back to a unit I successfully hunted in 2022. Too far to scout but confident enough that I will find elk again. Most of my time and thoughts revolve around my upcoming caribou hunt!
