    I have no doubt a 25x284 will end up at or well above 3000. Even with a 22" barrel. My 25 Creed is at exactly 3000 with a 25" barrel

    I have used them all, original open nose, new close nosed and I have 1500 of the new nose ringed...but I havent tested any of those on game yet. I really didn't notice much difference with the open or close nose.

    With 105s and a 19" barrel, I was a comfortable 3300fps. Lapua Brass, GM210 primer, and RL26. When I switched to 115s, I reduced the charge to keep it around 3150 to stay legal for shooting matches. When this barrel is toast, I will likely rebarrel to 25x284 now that there's a good option...
