    Nosler Model 21

Do we have any idea if Nosler is going to release an update to their mountain carbon rifle with the Model 21 action? It appears this is just a PRC issue and although it took a bit, has been resolved. I like their rifles, but the Model 48 is old and the stock looks pretty dull compared to other...

Springfield Armory Waypoint 2020 Pre Review.

Seems like a really great rifle…I would buy one if they had more caliber options. In a dream world…280AI and I wound out down my money tomorrow.

    Back country hunting rifle

If I don't want to build myself and wanted a carbon barrel....what would be your top suggestions for a 280AI from a "semi custom" provider? I really like the Weatherby's, but they don't offer 280AI with a carbon barrel

    PP’s v Secondary Draw

I am a CO resident…if the hunt quality was the same, I would happily pay what I have for NM, WY and UT tags the mast four years. No reason resident tags shouldn’t be $185 or more and sell way less tags…get rid of OTC once and for all and move to 80/20 allocation between residents/non-residents.

    New SG Sky Archer 6400

I just ordered the Sky Archer 6400. Excited to give it a try as I have needed a new pack for a long time. Will be interesting to see if I can still keep it relatively light. My old pack was 4,030 cu in and held all my gear just find for multi day trips.

    Thumb Release Help

Lots of great suggestions here. As you can tell, gotta probably try some. If you don't have the ability to do that, go to archery talk and pick up a used one to try out. When I was searching at the beginning of last season, I settled on the Stan SX3 (three finger) Not one that you can try...

    Iron will impact collars

Then I have to buy a heat gun! More junk in the garage. The discoloring would probably go away if I cleaned them first. It is just the machine oil and carbon from the fire. I don’t even get them that hot really. It was more sarcasm :-)

    WY Elk Results- Posted Shortly

Nothing for our group in WY. I was hoping since the other guys have not drawn anything else, however, I drew my Utah tag, so happy to get the money back!

    Iron will impact collars

Was just thinking about this today as I ordered more components for a new dozen arrows for the season after breaking two from last season in the last couple days. I am running the same arrow and components that I ran last year and I personally have been super happy with them. Black Eagle...

How crazy will CO Archery OTC be 2021?

Exactly Orion. Still Hunter...I understand what you are saying, however, I am a Colorado resident living in the mountains, so I understand. Last night I had mule deer in my yard and drove past 30 head of elk (that will be ghost come the season). My problem is almost 100% related to OTC and...

How crazy will CO Archery OTC be 2021?

If you double the price, you can sell half as many tags and make the same amount of money. This will improve the quality of the experience and provide better value for the hunters. Obviously, it does no good to just double the price and try to sell the same number of tags.

How crazy will CO Archery OTC be 2021?

I mean seriously...name a non-coastal western state you wouldn’t rather have a tag in them CO? Especially OTC. It is bottom of the barrel for elk. Resident tags should be $350...MINIMUM. Less hunters show up...within 5 years people will be begging to pay it. Make non-res tags $1250. CO has...

How crazy will CO Archery OTC be 2021?

Really need eastern whitetail to become a thing and CO to double the price of non-res tags and follow the allocation laws that are on the books. I live in CO and do everything I possibly can to hunt elk in Amy other state possible. CO is literally the worst tag option and I drive past elk...

Swapping frame stays stone glacier pack

If you get a hold of them, I am very curios what they say about the possibility of doing this.

Stone Glacier X-curve worth the upgrade

Thanks! appreciate the info. I definitely think saving 10oz is worth it. The X-Curve would probably be more comfortable packing out quarters...but that sucks no matter..lol

Stone Glacier X-curve worth the upgrade

The X-Curve is 10oz heavier then the Krux Evo frame. I understand it is about "what fits best," but those that have used both, is the X-Curve really worth an extra 10oz of weight? That is a lot for a multi day elk hunt...not to mention using it as a day pack when doing double digit miles everyday.

    Utah mt nebo info.

I have a $1,000 Utah charge on my card. Fingers crossed its for this tag. Still only 1 non-resident tag a season for archery? Looks like success rates have been climbing since the fire. Anyone hunt it 2020? Thanks!

    PSE Mach 1 Riser Issue

Out of curiosity, since I just sold my backup...other then only shooting when you have something in front of you and not practicing a ton at base camp...what is the danger level or accuracy issues when doing this?

    Bow Poundage

Shot 70# bows for 20 years..always maxed. Ordered an Elite Kure this season with the 65# limbs and while I can without a doubt still draw 72 just fine...I only lose about 8 fps and at 66lbs it feels like I am shooting a kids bow it is so damn easy and smooth to draw. Still shoots a 520g arrow...
