Savage rifles may not be sexy or cosmopolitan, but they are usually absolutely shooters! And they don't break the bank to boot. I will take a group like that all day long. Congratulation.
It has been a few days, but I have killed several with sharks; mainly the 165 Land Shark. They are a little tricky to sharpen, but they fly great and make a good hole.
I am not sure, but I will never forget reading the story. I think it was in the “This happened to me” column. That column was the one that had the illustrations with it.
Great rifles, I have or have had several. All were/are great shooters, and beautiful to boot. A classic beautiful gun needs a classic scope, Leopold all the way.
I have owned well over two dozen, and I have only had one FTF and it was one of my reloads in a G23. In my experience, a Glock always goes bang and bang again if you need it to. I have also had six or seven Kimbers and never had a bad one. Maybe I am just lucky 🤷🏼♂️.
