22 creed was the Sandman K. Don't remember what the Ultra5 was on, but it wasn't bigger than a 6.5 Creed
I did not shoot these guns, so maybe it is quieter to the shooter?
Ive been around the sandman K and thunderbeast Ultra 5, and neither was pleasent enough for me to consider a 5" can ever.
enticer Sti or Silencerco Scythe are a couple examples all off the top of my head that I'd consider when looking for shortest/lightest cans
is what you are seeing just the "clicker" prc issue? If so, Alex Wheeler's PRC reamers have been known to fix
Only other thought with the limited information is to slug the barrel and see if it is a touch tight

I believe his meaning was that not all scope bases/rails are perfectly identical nor do they mate with actions perfectly.
Hence the bedding.
Believe and do whatever you want, but bedding increases mating surface area. May not be "needed" but it takes very little time and effort to do.
Have your back country rings failed (see attached pic, friend of mine had a lug shear off recently)?
Did you mess up the bedding of your rail crazy bad?
What else have you done to the gun since it was "extremely accurate" to now?
