    I don’t personally have one on a shotgun, however I do have experience with them for shotguns. The holosun 407 is a fantastic choice for that. Holosun on shotguns in my experience hold up to the recoil. Any dot in theory should do great on the .22. I’d look at whether you want an open emitter...

    What caliber do you like for predator/ varmint hunting?

    I would be very happy with either round. If I am going to buy a new gun I would still prefer a .243 or better. I can shoot a .243/6creed cheaper and find ammo locally. Would love to have both though.

    only choose .224 because state regulate sit at night. hopefully that goes away this year and 6mm it is.

    Just came across this video don’t by MDT on YouTube. He loosens muzzle brake, front then rear action screw and scope to show the shifts one thing can cause. Immediately thought of this post. Good watch for refrence.

    Airbnb or Motel in Gunnison

    2022 season we had a tent failure and crashed in hotels. It got expensive quick. $120ish a night was the cheapest. Air BnB or vrbo definitely worth a look. Gunnison is a cool town to check out though. Definitely agree with traders rendezvous being a must see though.

    Why might my rifle have lost zero

    Could be the power sensitivity to temp, although that is not a drastic change in temps. Also different lot numbers in ammo can be a factor. Keep detailed notes on your changes after checking your torques and rings. Ammo for me has been the most common offender. I typically shoot factory loaded ammo.
