    Spring Meadows is a solid operation, they kill some of the best mule deer, whitetail and bulls the state has to offer. There are a couple other guide services in the area with similar names that I think your getting them crossed with.

    You’ll need access to private that meets the requirements of the river antlerless tags for January. It’s a PLO tag. EHD is hitting the whitetails, not for sure how bad but could potentially limit tags and or hunting opportunities.

    That would be very hypocritical of hunters to complain about OnX when most everyone uses some sort of mapping tool in the field. If someone were to hang a stand on public next to mine would I be disappointed-yes. But it also shows that hunter has put forth the effort to seek out quality hunting...

    The canyon lands you’re referring to are thick tangled messes of cedar with pretty low deer densities. On some years, water could be a decent option but most years that water will be frozen in November in Nebraska.

    The toughest goodbye

    Sorry for your loss, they truly are man’s best friend and a gift from above. We said goodbye to our Golden almost 6 weeks ago. Although it gets easier, you don’t know how much you expect them to be in their “spots” until they aren’t.
