Sorry I missed your question. I just finalized a transaction with Lane for them to buy the suppressor back through a Form 4 transfer. The suppressor had a severe gas leak from the joint between the rear cap and the tube. After I discovered the defect in my suppressor (on the first day I shot...
I would strongly suggest you avoid the Lane. They have issues with their suppressors that you do not want to get involved with. Been there and done that. Same advise as above on the Thunder Beast, get the 7 inch.
The plague can be a patch work affair. I've seen towns that were not affected at all when nearly every town for miles was wiped out. It all depends on your area.
I hiked through 2 feet of snow to get to a stand this morning. A rancher friend has had one in his cows that are calving. I was at the base of the Tobacco Root Range in SW Montana where it is most definitely still winter. There's more snow there now than there was 2 weeks ago.
No, I don't know nuthin about no statistical stuff. I barely got out of 8th grade. I do know one thing for sure. If you want to prove your perceived superiority, why don't you go out and shoot some 3 shot "groups" at 400 meters and post em up and see how they compare. Cherry pick any of them...
No. I have several that will do half of that. Over 40 years. I don't see much point in shooting 10 shot groups. I might wear out a barrel every week. Here's one 3 shot that measures about .350 at 400 meters. Or another at 100 yards. I'm not much of a picture taker but maybe I could find...
LOL. You don't "clean barrels ever?" How would you know if your barrels are not shooting at their best if you've never cleaned them? I've seen barrels that have never been cleaned so powder fouled that they would key hole because the rifling wouldn't grip the bullet enough to stabilize it...
2). Have you ever seen anywhere that water can't go? The powder fouling is hydrophilic. Moisture reacts with the fouling and forms an acid. Then ^^^^^ that happens.
Nothing past 700 for me, but I work on the rock chucks out to that distance. More of them in the 400 to 600 range. 22 CM with a 69 grain Lapua Scenar does the job pretty well.
Print out a copy of TSA regulations and keep it in your possession. I have run into power tripping counter help and TSA agents that have no clue what the regulations are. Be prepared to produce the document and show them the exact regs that come from their web site. Last time I looked the...
I've tested several different powders in the .22CM. My conclusion was that 4350 is too fast to reach the optimal velocity nodes in the .224 bore diameter. It's probably the best all around powder for the .264 bore, but that bore size has about 40% more volume than the .224. Smaller the bore...
It wouldn't have to be .002 out. Freebore diameter is usually only .0005 over bullet diameter. If the barrel was .0005 out of center it would leave the lands at the end of the neck on one side, and completely remove them on the other side. That's why it shows up so dramatically with a bore...
