I use an EE recon bivy with floorless shelters. It's a 4-6" or so bathtub floor, net top, with some additional material at head and foot. It adds about 10* that I can sleep comfortably with a quilt.
I looked at the Bivy you're considering. It's a body bag essentially. There seems to be...
Another overlooked aspect here, is worrying about missing targets completely. I think this accounts for a huge portion of "target panic" at a home range. The average archer doesn't have the funds, space, or desire to move things around for a 4' square target or hay bale. They're typically...
Hunt with a buddy that has a similar draw length.
keep a spare bow in the truck.
keep super glue, spare release, Allen keys for the major adjustments, loctite and register everything with a sharpie.
I keep a full box of tools and spares in the truck, have never used any of it 20+ years of bow...
I use a lightweight bivvy and tyvek ground sheet in my floorless shelter. If I know it will be below freezing every night, I bring my 20* quilt, insulated pad, and have a beanie puffy jacket and pants along for the ride. I can easily get into single digits with this set up.
The problem is where...
I use a dry bag with shoulder straps made for kayaking. I put my whole camp setup in it. Whether I'm packing it all day or dropping camp or making camp, the few ounces of the bag makes no differnce. It's a low price to pay for versatility.
Another season in the books with the Chota hippies and simms lightest model wading boot. I logged probably another 150-200 miles. I had many hunts in 40-75* weather, and my feet were comfortable, even sitting still for hours on end with wet boots. I also made 15 or 20 sits with temps below...
Also of note - the 1” difference versus 6” difference would mean 2” groups, or 12” groups. You’re calculating for radius not diameter.
but as was said above. Most people most of the time aren’t going to notice. But for long draw long distance with fixed blades, it shows up.
It’s been my experience hunting Missouri in the rut the last several years that bucks are more responsive to calling earlier in season, and less interested as the hoards of people show up. Obviously Plenty of room and deer for that to be different, but I would imagine with a gun, you don’t need...
Barely used bow. Second owner, first >100 shots, I put less than 100 on it as well. Was purchased as a backup waiting for new bow to arrive this summer. 30" mods installed, 29.5 will come with the bow.

I’m just glad there are still people man enough to admit dumb things like this so the rest of us don’t have to carry around the burden of having done the same thing without admitting to it. Thank you sir - hopefully your season doesn’t get derailed because it!
The company let me buy 20 buckles or so. I think I spent 20.00. Not sure what you guys are looking for. I doubt you’re going to find a source to break the bricks any further....
30.5 75lbs prime black 5. Can tune 300,250,200 with weights from 510-630 in any spine all tune well. The 300 gets a little squirrelly if too much weight up front, I’ve got to have perfect form. But 550 and below it Tunes easily. I think you can get there wjth the 300. Square arrows, go long and...
I have the little model that screws on top of small bottle. I got the adapter hose, and mounted it to a 2x4 that goes across a corner of bed and I run the hose to a bottle outside. Or o just stand it up on a small bottle on the lip of the bed cover pointed inwards. I don’t have anything within...
