WyoArk, truly this question is out of pure curiosity and in absolutely no way is intended as some sort of criticism but.......Do you consider hunting ( or anything else for that matter ) in such demanding and unforgiving environments to be the province of adrenaline junkies? Thanks.
Man, glad you made it out! Even for folks as thoroughly prepared and experienced as you guys were/are, those kinds of places, like the sea, are stunningly unforgiving and can kill you quick. Color me unadventurous if you will ( or just plain not enough guts! ), but even in my younger days I...
Noted. Never hunted anything or anywhere that I would need big binocs. I was really just going off the fact that one could probably anchor a boat with the things!
Beat me to it! This is PRECISELY what I purchased used ( for $350 no less ). Arrived in great shape. Use them at the range with a tabletop tripod to spot .223 bullet splatters on steel at 500 yards for scope adjustments. Very happy with them. They`re big and heavy, so for use for hunting you`d...

Just curious. Should we presume that the Diamondback is not meeting your needs or has failed in some way? OR....do you just want to spend money? Not knocking that, by the way. I will say that personally I try to ascertain what I`ll be gaining with something new over what I have, particularly...
Like I posted earlier, people in the woods with firearms that have absolutely no business being there. I swear I just think a lot of people just weren`t raised right!
When I was in elementary school in the 50`s, one of our teachers always wore sun glasses, even inside in the classroom. Being kids, we made fun of him behind his back. One day my dad, a Pacific WWII vet himself, took me aside and explained to me that our teacher had been taken prisoner by the...
