Urishol is like an oil. It can transfer from clothes, seats or even tools. For example when you got home and changed your shorts the oil could have transferred to your hands/arms. I work in poison oak all the time and try my best to follow protocols to prevent getting a rash.

15-20 days or tag out during archery season. And probably another 5 - 10 days helping out friends and family during rifle seasons.

No. He was feeding with a smaller buck. Had plenty of rain and wind to cover noise. Always kept a tree between him and I.

While this is the worst of the anti gun bills in Oregon, I do not think it will gain much traction. However there are several others that could easily pass and be very bad for gun owners.

Never been in the kalmiopsis but I have heard it’s very brushy and steep. Also it has been severely hit by fire the last couple years. I would do a lot of research on the area before stepping into it.
Also FYI sw bear tags have been moved back to a draw tag.

Copy that. And I’m glad it worked out for you in the end. I know how that feeling goes. This season after pulling in at 3 am and setting up my tent, I had someone walking though camp at about 430. I unzipped the tent slightly and fortunately caught...
You are right, if you can see the camp from the road don’t pull into it. The problem is many campsites are a hundred feet or so off the main road and in the timber. You can not see if they are occupied from the main road and have to pull into them to look.

Thanks everyone. He went about 210 yards. This is the first time I have ever gut shot something and really struggled with the decision on what to do. Luckily the temps were in the 30’s with a high of maybe 42. Shot occurred at 11 and found him at 9am. All the meat was cool to the touch even...
I was still hunting through timber and was able to stalk into 30 yards on this buck. Everything was going great till the shot broke and I twitched. The shot hit great elevation but was back. After finding my arrow covered in guts, I made the hard decision to pull out. Unfortunately it poured...
