    8 day hunt. Elk were almost nonexistent. Rain was miserable, but was able to connect on a little six point Bull and even called in a mountain lion, that we weren't able to connect on. Anyway my first horse packout was great.

    E fence and hobbles were awesome! Moved the fence every other day for food, and to keep from tearing the ground up. Was able to run a corner to a creek for water. It worked very well for 8 days.

    Stock Newbie.

    Just bought my first horse this year. Backpack hunted for twenty years and finally feel the need to have an animal to get elk out. Getting slow packing them out in the heat. Mine will be used for scouting recreation riding and meat packing. Excited to see this addition. Thanks for the tips already.
