    I also use powdered milk or dry creamer and sugar packets. I just got some half and half containers but wont be taking those after hearing they explode. thanks for all the ideas everyone.

    I'm going to have to try the Via sounds like its a favorite. I also take some hot chocolate or mocha packets. They really help save the day when your tarp bound by rain or snow.

    what is everyone using for coffee on a backpacking trip? I have a jet boil with a press and haven't gotten very good results. I tried to grind my own and that didn't help. I have also used the instant packs but they aren't the greatest.

    anyone have a new Benchmade hunting knife? you like it?

    I have one and love it, super sharp and has a great feel. I had mine engraved at the dealer for like $6. It fits in the leather sheath very nice. For the price you wont find a better fixed blade for skinning and camp chores.

    Leatherman charge tti, awesome i cut 1/4" wire rope the other day no problem and sidecutters wouldnt touch it

    Plantar fasciitis

    I also had PF, had shots used insoles and wore boots. All those helped but it kept coming back. I got the simple surgery in both feet at the same time and am done. I feel a little ache here and there but nothing at all really. Do it and be done.
