    Replacing Mathews Strings

Yeah that's not really true. I work in a bow shop and we order the 5 part custom strings from 4 different manufactures without any issues.

    Quietest bow???

Yes Matthews seem to be quieter. You could also switch fletchings and add a little weight to your arrows. Maybe add a new stabilizer and even a back bar. All can quiet down your bow substantially without to much impact on performance.

    AAE AIRAZR 26

I've got them on my victory vap ss arrows right now they are quiet and stabilize field points and broad heads well. They are long enough that I got good helical on them and they fly like lasers. They were easy to fletch and I like them so far.

Point weight vs insert weight… which is more beneficial?

Really it all comes down to tuning. Since you can't tune your bow you've got to do the arrow. Find a combo that will give you the best results for your bow and arrow set up and use that. There really isn't an easy button in trad. I bare shaft tune my arrows with field points and then even do it...

What Fletching glue are you all using.

AAE max bond has worked fine for me. I don't use a primer pen but I do clean the shafts and the vanes with denatured alcohol. I've use it on quite a few different brands and styles even some feathers and it seems to work.

    Cat Recipes?

Stir fry, fajitas, kabobs, I've done pulled pork style bbq with a roast. It's all pretty good and it takes on flavor well just remember that it's lean don't overcook it to much but make sure it gets done through.

NW Montana-Snow Pack - Green Up

I agree I'm in central MT there's been a few bears around. It's been a warm dry winter. The whole last week has been in the high 50-60s and tomorrow is supposed to be 70 degrees. Yes it could snow a bit more but winter is officially over. Hell we get snow in June almost every year but it's wet...

    Calling Bears in the Fall?

Yes hide, skull and meat. There are no griz in CO. In the fall it is pretty effective usually if you can see the bear first. I've never successfully blind called a bear in CO. Not every bear is inclined to respond if they are actively feeding they will ignore you. If the bear is traveling it is...

Aspens in SW CO Around October 1?

The leaves should still be good definitely starting to fall but plenty of the trees. Not just Aspen but Alder and Cottonwood and most of the wild roses and berry bushes will be full color. It should be a nice trip.

    Little Belt Mountain Grizzlies

There's an awful lot of grizzlies everywhere the buffalo roam in this state. We have a few bears in every mountain range and along most of the major river corridors.
