Any chance there are any large nalgene holders available? I've been busy with work and missed the opportunity. I'd love to get 2 if anyone decided they didn't want theirs.
Short answer is you need at least 5/8 material to screw into to secure your metal roofing.
If you're only using purlins and screwing directly into those (typically 2x4s) that's perfectly fine if installed correctly. If you're installing sheathing, then you're no longer only screwing into the...

Check out RR Buildings youtube channel. It's how pole barns should be built. You'll probably want to go back a few years, he's doing some fairly extravagant ones now that are probably more than you want. He has everything from sub 6 figure buildings to several hundred thousand dollar builds.
Of course you don't rule it out. That's diplomacy 101, talk softly but carry a big stick goes a long ways. That being said, not ruling it out and arguing for a military invasion are worlds apart. No reasonable person would argue otherwise in faith.
CFE 223 is my go to for my Grendel loads. I'll use 8208xbr with lighter bullets like the barnes 100gr TTSX. The 107gr should be in the grey area where both should work. They've both been exceptionally accurate for me. CFE 223 will give you better speeds, but 8208xbr is more temp stable.
