I'm sure any of you that have tried to hire anyone for an entry level or operator position in manufacturing lately will be a little nervous as I am.
We're going to have to stop the handouts for people to be willing to work for anything. It's not exclusive to the company I work for, I've talked...
My 5'3" small framed wife can shoot my 7 PRC with a can on it no problem. Maybe not as well as a smaller caliber but I personally don't feel like 7 PRC with 165 grain Norma bondstrikes is enough recoil to not make sense. My two cents anyways. I like 6CM and 6.5CM as well.
I just wish Winchester would support their calibers like Hornady. Hornady should've changed the published velocity once they had to change powder. I'm not happy that they couldn't admit their mistake. I do love my 7PRC though.
If you really want to get into it, then don't let them discourage you. Life has inherent risk, not just western hunting. Just do your best to prepare for issues and problems.
It's the most effective way I've found. Some guys do cold water mastication, which is just leaving it in water for several days and then the harder chunks come out, but the teeth might possibly fall out if you do that long enough. Friend used to use the beetles but that's not really an option...
The cartilage on the back of the skull and the brains are always a PIA. You could try simmering it a little more and then just digging around. Maybe a water hose with a spray nozzle? I always use a pressure washer or go to an old carwash for the last part.
I finally made it to my unit. Turned what should've been 12 hours into 21 hours over two days. Talked to some other people that got stuck on I-40 for fifteen hours yesterday near Cline's corner south of Santa Fe. I bet there was at least thirty miles of traffic waiting to go east on I-40 today.
