    I hunt it every year and have had good success on nice bucks. Need to scout a lot to find mature animals and it is a grind. Early winter storms that kick off the migration during season makes the best hunting.

    I think podcasts are a great resource. The Rokcast has a lot of great episodes on mule deer biology. The “hunt backcountry” has some gems if you go back through the archives, especially early on. Eastmans elevated has a few as well that can be helpful. Good luck

    If you don’t have an extenuating circumstance that will prevent you from hunting, go out and hunt. There is still plenty of time to do research.
