My kids (13,11,9) put pink sparkly valve stem covers on my pickup. Went to work in the dark, hadn't noticed them. Had a co-worker text to ask if I was feeling fabulous when he saw them.
Simple, easy, got a laugh out of several people. Honestly I had a bit of a proud dad moment. They don't yet...
Thanks. It's been a few years, but I think that 40% for 5 minutes was the best recommendation I could find the last time I looked hard. I can tell you that 40% for 5 minutes will alter the finish on a Buck 119 handle!
I have changed how I handle deer after that, really thought more about...
Honest question, could you point me to a decent source for those recommendations? Last time I looked hard the recommendation was a higher bleach concentration, but less time. It was hard on the finish of my knives (the handles, not the blade)! Now I isolate materials used to break down the deer...
I would get your dates set, but leave the destination flexible at this point. By the end of August you will be able to look through spring and summer weather conditions and see some bird counts and forecasts. At that point I'd pick the area that seems to have had 1) good or increasing bird...
Our vision plan pays out for us. My yearly contribution is $281.84 to cover myself and our 3 children. I get $130 credit towards contacts each year, which is used, and both our sons get $100 credit towards glasses yearly, which has been used every year we've had them covered (between changes in...
I've got a Final Rise sidekick turkey vest. I have a summit and some accessory pockets too, so I change up the pockets/water bottle holders depending on the hunt.
The cnoc bags zip-top are a lot easier to fill. The sawyer bags suck to get full if trying to scoop and fill the bag. The cnoc bags are pretty strong too, have held up to some abuse.
We use cnoc bags and sawyer squeeze filters. Easy to fill, can squeeze through if you're in a hurry, or hang and gravity feed through it while setting up camp.
We hiked the Pawnee-Buchanan Loop in the Indian Peaks Wilderness area, it's a gorgeous hike. Access from the Brainard Lake area requires some planning to get access, but day trips in that area would be good as well. Hiking up into the area from the west would eliminate a lot of crowds and...
I love my soft topper. Can pop the snaps and have it folded forward or completely removed in a couple of minutes. Goes from protecting stuff to full bed access pretty quickly.
That is tougher when it's cold though. And security isn't as high, anyone with a knife can ruin it quickly.
I have...
I had been carrying wipes, added one of these this season.

"Nothing worthwhile comes from a position of comfort"
-Professional and personal growth suck, because you have to dig in to find weak areas and expose them.
-Taking chances or risks can be terrifying and leave you on your ass.
-the best views, best hikes, best hunting spots, etc are always...
Our chapter board members are headed down for the weekend. Went last year and a few years ago when it was in Omaha. If you like upland hunting it's a good time. I usually park myself at some of the different stages throughout the day. There are usually quite a few decent speakers/presentations...

I picked up a couple last fall after looking pretty hard to find one. Used it right out of the box for a little over 2 months before needing to do anything to the blade, general around the house stuff to breaking down small...
