When timing a fall-away or limb driven rest, you want the rest to guide the arrow until it reaches a speed that it'll guide itself. If the rest isn't guiding the arrow up to that speed, it can cause inconsistencies in how the arrow leaves the bow and will impact down range accuracy.
Double check fitment on the Darton bows. The risers are thicker than most other brands and you might not get enough windage adjustment. If it is the Consequence 2, it will have two drilled holes in the back of the riser allowing you to use the Epsilon/Everest with the C.O.R. riser interface...
If you choose to go with the Hamskea, you will need to get an Epsilon/Everest with the Riser Mount Interface in the package. This is due to the thicker riser on the new Darton bows and the Universal Bracket wouldn't be able to provide you with enough windage adjustment. If you have any other...
One of the great features of the Hamskea rests is the ability to adjust the launcher angle to fit your specific needs. This gives shooters the ability get a specific amount of fletching clearance for higher or lower profile vanes as well as being able to swap between the longer target launchers...
I think the added bleeder blade is really going to help with the blood trails and a little extra cutting surface is never a bad thing. However, the chisel point looks to be rounded compared to the older models. It'll be interesting to look at them a little closer in person, but I'm sure I'll...
I agree with others that you might have some nock pinch. Another thing to think about is having too high of draw weight. If you aren't able to draw the bow keeping it vertical, then you might want to drop the poundage a little so that you can make a smooth controlled draw during a hunting...
I'll agree with what has already been said. The blades don't come as sharp as I would expect, but I was able to sharpen them on my work sharp stand and have been very happy with the results. The 2.0 heads have passed through everything I have shot them at. I have a couple heads dedicated for...
There are some pretty easy fixes for the two concerns you have.
1. For any noise that might occur before drawing your bow back, you can put a strip of felt on the far edge of the riser shelf. The arrow will only contact the far edge, so there is no reason to put felt over the whole riser...
Selling my Mathews Wake with 70lb limbs. It had 29.5" mods on it right now but I have more mods. You can still order mods from mathews as well. The bow shoots great and is in amazing shape, I just don't shoot it enough to justify having it sit around. Looking to get $750 OBO and not really...
Results I was getting with my personal V3 is one of the reasons we decided to take a closer look at this topic and really see what gains can be found. So far this is the most efficient way I've found to find the optimal location to mount the cord.
The containment brackets were design to be shot with the cock fletching pointed at 12 o-clock when using a 3 fletch. If you get contact with the roller guards in this orientation it is possible that your rest is adjusted outside of the recommended Center-Shot range. I recommend setting your...
