Yes you could. There is a finger loop for easy removal at the end of the cover. One could tether it from there

The base is an xtreme hardcore gear Tikka 20 MOA. Yes the level is always on it.

The blind screw holes are a nice touch and no doubt add cost to their manufacturing.
