ZPacks Altaplex

Is anyone running a Zpacks Altaplex? Interested to know how it performs in bad weather (high winds and little snow)?

My GF uses that tent when backpacking . She loves the weight of it . I’ve never slept in it but have set it up and it seems well made .
I don’t think it’s been in extreme weather though

Check out the through hiker reviews on this and other tents. Almost nobody on earth runs tents in so many conditions and for so many nights.

For almost the same weight I would run the Duplex. Easier setup. Two doors/vestibules. A palace for one. Universally loved by thru hikers.

The big con that turned me off the zpacks tents is that the material is really noisy in windy conditions. Most thru hikers wear ear plugs at night but I'm not wearing ear plugs at night in bear country. The noise could also spook game.
